This is my new portfolio website. I hope you like it! It's not finished yet. I'll be updating the content and apps in the coming days and weeks. In the meantime, please feel free to look at my work on other websites using the following links.
I designed, built and now maintain this site. I developed a good working relationship with the client on this project which helped me develop my technical and professional skills, including javascript, flash, project management and self motivation. Project completed in March 2009. View the completed website here.
I have used this as a way to document my progress throughout my studies and since leaving University. As well as the work i produce, it will hopefully offer an insight into my thought processes, as i explore and develop my skills as a web designer. View my blog here.
This is just a collection of my completed work and ideas. View my Deviantart page here.
Hi! My name is Rob Hammerton. Im an aspiring web designer from Lincolnshire, England.
I am open to new opportunities and would like a position either in the maintainence of websites and website content or as a web design assistant. The opportunity to progress in a position and further my knowledge is highly appealing to me as I feel that I have gone as far as I can in my current position. I am looking for a position with more scope for the future.
In my current position I'm responcible for maintaining and updating the company's ecommerce website [www.worldcarparts.co.uk]. I am involved in the whole of the project presentation for products as well as general admin and warehouse duties.
I am interested in web design and it is my ambition to become a web designer. I studied in this area at University. I also have experience of the whole project process including project management from freelancing. My latest website [www.AutonomyTherapy.co.uk] went live in April 2009. I designed, built and now maintain this site.
If you'd like to know more please drop me a line or email. You can find my details on the Contact page.
Homepage image of the Autonomy Therapy website.
Image of the autonomy therapy's page header. Appears at the top of all pages on the site, except
the holding (index) page.
This is a screen print to show the javascript navigation menu on the Autonomy Therapy website. When the mouse is over the menu various sub-pages of that particular category appear.
Here we have what appears in the centre of the first page of the Autonomy Therapy site. It consists of a paragraph introduction explaining what the definition of 'autonomy' is and a button to enter the site. I created it in Flash MX and made it viewable for flash player 6+ so all of the audience should be able to see it.
Feel free to contact me for a freelance project or a career opportunity!
